On January the 25th the Inline Hockey and Softball Coliseum construction works started

Construction work at the Inline Hockey and Softball Coliseums, which are located at the Jaime Aparicio Sports Unit, started on the 25th January. The Inline Hockey Coliseum will have a capacity for 2080 spectators and will be a multifunctional sports facility.
The original Softball Coliseum design were adjusted 5 grades according to the sun position; these adjustments were executed in order to avoid any visual problems for the pitcher. The International Federations approved these changes.
Both sports facilities reached all the technical, hydraulic, sanitary and earthquake resistance global requirements, therefore, being a legacy which will ensure the improvement of the city’s competition quality in both, Softball and Hockey. Construction will be completed by 25th June, one month prior to The World Games 2013 Cali.
