El Teatro Nacional and La Corporación Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro will perform at The World Games´opening ceremony.

The temporal union that is integrated by La Corporación Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro and El Teatro Nacional with Ana Martha de Pizarro, its director, will be encharged of The World Games’ 2013 opening ceremony. This decision was made unanimously between the five panel´s members last Friday February 15that The  Mayor´s office communication room.

The opening ceremony will be at the Pascual Guerrero stadium, will have two stages, one of these circular and rotating and other one will be an elevating platform. Located at the South side of the stadium will be the philharmonic orchestra with native instruments of the region. The performance will have two moments; the first part is about the city of Cali, during the second time the athletes are the protagonists followed by the theaters actors, all with technology.

Mulato and Circo Para Todos are a fundamental part of the show. Through the circus technique some sport disciplines that belong to the games,but many people don´t known, will be explained. Betty Garcés, soprano from Buenaventura city, will interpret the National Anthem, and three choreographies from Barcelona will be responsible for the closing ceremony with the Cali Pachanguero song.
